Since its inception, FyterTech Nonwovens has been focused on extending its reach and expanding its capabilities – growing alongside its distribution partners for over two decades. It has grown through both organic sales and acquisition to become the largest integrated sorbent manufacturer.
Our History
FyterTech has its origins dating back to October of 1996 and celebrated 25 years in October of 2021. At its humble beginning, the company had 5 employees and one manufacturing plant in Green Bay, WI.
After numerous acquisitions and growth into new businesses, today FyterTech has expanded to have multiple manufacturing and warehouse locations, with two locations in the Green Bay, WI area; Jackson, TN; Anchorage, AK and in Manchester, U.K.
From October of 1996 through February of 2021, the company was known as NPS Corporation. In February of 2021 the company sold its Towel and Tissue Division and renamed the remaining Spill Control Division, FyterTech Nonwovens, LLC. Moving forward the company’s focus is now on nonwoven fabrics and our new company name, FyterTech Nonwovens, evokes a notion of “fighting” for our customers, safe workplaces and our environment!
Twenty-five years from its humble beginnings, FyterTech Nonwovens remains headquartered and privately owned in Northeastern, WI. We are now one of the largest integrated manufacturers of sorbent spill control products and an emerging player in technical nonwovens, with customers in 66 countries and over 200 employees. We believe the secret of our success is taking excellent care of our customers and employees.
